The Catherine H. Tuck Foundation

TCHTF is a nonprofit organization created in 2012 to provide financial aid for women in treatment for breast cancer. We were founded by David Hudgins in honor of his sister, Dr. Catherine Hudgins Tuck who passed away from breast cancer in 2001 at the age of 39. The purpose of the organization is to help women who are in active treatment to stay financially afloat.

Dr. Catherine H. Tuck

Catherine was a beloved sister, mother, daughter, wife, aunt, friend, and physician.  She attended The Hockaday School in Dallas, Texas, and graduated from Princeton University and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.  She was Chief Medical Resident in Internal Medicine at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, and the co-founder and Associate Director of the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center.  A clinician and medical educator, she was a member of the Faculty of Medicine at Columbia Medical School, where she also received treatment after her diagnosis of breast cancer.  Catherine left behind a young son, a husband, and a large extended family who still feel the void from her absence every day.
